Coronavirus COVID-19 flexible booking policies

There is nothing more important to us than our guests' happiness. With that in mind, we have taken every necessary step to ensure our booking policies support exactly that.

As travellers of the world ourselves, we know the Covid-19 pandemic has made it difficult to plan holidays abroad and has affected any thoughts you may have had for a tropical beach holiday.

As villa specialists, we also know how hard it is for our villa owners who have faced postponement requests from guests. This has led to a loss of income that is normally used to pay for maintenance of the villa and to compensate their villa staff. A beautiful, clean villa after all, needs some looking after.

As a team, we want our flexible booking policies to support both our guests and owners; for you, our guests to truly enjoy your villa holiday without any worries, and for our owners, to still receive our standard service fee for listing and handling all successful bookings through our website.

The below booking policies are supported by Villa Finder and most of our villa owners:

For new bookings
For guests not affected by any travel restrictions (lucky you!) and looking to stay at one of our beautiful villas, we welcome your booking. If travel restrictions are still in place at the time of your stay:

  • Please kindly refer to your travel insurance provider if cancellation by travel restriction is covered.

  • In the case where your travel insurance can't cover cancellation due to travel restriction, we will convert your booking into a credit note, valid for 12 months of your original booking.

  • Credit note based on booking value paid and the value/ booking terms for new bookings will follow terms in place at the time of rebooking.

  • Any regular administration fee will be waived.

For existing bookings and postponing your villa holiday
If you have made a booking with us or your stay is coming up, but your travel plans have changed due to travel restrictions, please let us know as soon as you can at [email protected] or simply give us a call at one of our offices. Here are our policies:

  • Please kindly refer to your travel insurance provider if cancellation by travel restriction is covered. If you are covered, we will supply you with the necessary paperwork to file a claim with your travel insurance.

  • In the case where your travel insurance can't cover cancellation due to travel restriction, We will convert your booking into a credit note, valid for 12 months of your original booking.

  • Credit note based on booking value paid and the value/ booking terms for new bookings will follow terms in place at the time of rebooking.

  • Any regular administration fee will be waived.


For any disruption caused by the travel restriction, official proof may be required.

We will arrange the necessary arrangement right away with our villa owners. Our team is working around the clock to provide everyone the support they need. Our focus is helping travellers with immediate trips (next 4 weeks), so please allow us some time to respond if your travel is only in a few months.

These policies will remain in effect until our guests from all over the world can confidently and safely travel without the worry of travel bans or restrictions

Future travel
