This fabulous restaurant in Palma has been around since 1958 when banker Antonio Mayol had the splendid innovative idea to transform an old warehouse into a restaurant. Being new to the hospitality industry, Antonio created a wonderful place where everyone is welcome to come and try authentic local Majorcan cuisine. You can expect excellent quality of food, heartwarming services and reasonable prices. The ambience is cozy, rustic and relaxed with a decor of traditional wine barrels and teak furniture.

Michelin star chef Andreu Genestra lights up Palma’s culinary scene at his 17th-century restaurant, Aromata. Situated within the historic Sa Nostra Cultura Centre just minutes from Paseo del Born and Avenida Jaume III, the interior transports diners back in time with its quintessential Mallorcan courtyard and ancient stone arches. The menu at Aromata showcases classic local dishes – coca flatbread, pork fillet with sobrasada sauce and a marbled almond cake to name a few. We suggest visiting at lunchtime to experience the utterly reasonable midday menu in more relaxed surroundings.
