The two bedrooms at Villa Aureolin are both beautifully designed with traditional hardwood tones, high beamed ceilings and terracotta floor tiles. Simple but wonderfully comfortable, both rooms feature the highest quality linens and mattresses which guarantee a peaceful night’s sleep. The master bedroom features a wide double bed and an elegant beauty set-up with a mirror above the chest of drawers. The second bedroom is a twin room with two single beds with intricate, dark wood headboards. The two bedrooms share a large family bathroom, fitted with modern facilities.

As always in Mallorca, the garden is the heart and soul of the property. Immediately outside the wooden double doors which lead from the living room to the backyard, is a charming terrace, with rough stone walls and a romanesque column. Here you’ll find two comfortable armchairs, making this the perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. The veranda overlooks the massive 9x4 metre swimming pool, which features a shallow end and steps so the whole family can play safely in the cool water. The pool is bordered by several sun loungers as well as a small play area, featuring a slide and a swing set to keep the little ones entertained.

The town offers restaurants and boutique-lined cobbled streets and plenty of small museums and ancient buildings for history lovers to muse over. If you’d like to visit the beautiful golden beaches that the island is so famous for, Playa d’Alcudia and Puerto de Pollensa are easily readable by car. Those who enjoy an active holiday will also love the excellent hiking and cycling trails in the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains and the Albufera Natural Park.
